Apple’s Mac models with the M4 processor will be unveiled on October 30: Eyes on next week’s event in Los Angeles
As Mark Gurman reports, the new MacBook Pro, iMac and Mac mini models will be unveiled at the event. Most notable, however, is the Mac mini with a revamped design. According to rumors, the new Mac mini will have a design that resembles a thicker version of an Apple TV. This time, however, it will feature two USB-C ports on the front, giving users faster access to their devices.
Another product that Apple will introduce at the event will be the 14-inch MacBook Pro. In this model, the addition of an entry-level Thunderbolt port is among the expected details. However, no major design changes are expected in other MacBook Pro and iMac models. Instead of radical changes in terms of design, Apple seems to focus on performance increases and new connectivity options at this event.
Meanwhile, it’s not just computers, Apple’s popular accessories like Magic Mouse, Magic Keyboard and Magic Trackpad could also get a refresh. Accessories updated with USB-C will be fully compatible with the new iMacs. Considering Apple’s recent transition to USB-C on devices like the iPhone and iPad, this change is likely to meet expectations.
The new products are expected to go on sale on November 7, 2024 after the event. Especially the new generation Macs equipped with M4 processors will be quite ambitious in terms of performance. Apple has already gained great acclaim in the industry with the M1 and M2 series processors, and now it intends to continue this success with M4 processors.
